Two teams. Practice plans that fit both.
Use a shared practice when the teams can work together. Keep separate plans when ages, experience or logistics call for a different session. Coach helps you organize both.
Build a free practice
Choose joint or separate before picking drills
A joint practice needs the same sport, compatible activities, enough equipment and supervision for the combined group. Check every drill against the full age range and headcount.
For separate sessions, reuse a useful structure and adapt each team’s copy. A nine-year-old team and a ten-year-old team may share the same focus while using different passing distances, timings or challenges.
Adapt one activity, not the whole session
Keep the objective clear, then adjust the task. For passing, one group might work with a stationary partner while another adds a moving receiver. Introduce a harder version only when players can manage the easier one.
- Make it easier: shorten the distance, widen the target or remove pressure.
- Add a challenge: introduce a decision or a moving target.
- Keep it manageable: change one condition and observe the result.
Keep the right plan with the right team
Select the teams in Coach when planning a joint session. For separate practices, copy the plan to the other team, then change its dates, activities and timings. Review the team names and share each plan with the intended group.
After practice, distinguish what was planned from what actually happened. Ask Agent Chat about the selected teams’ saved records when deciding what to repeat.

Questions coaches ask
Can Coach make one practice for two teams?
Yes. Select multiple teams of the same sport for a joint practice. Check the combined ages, attendance, equipment and adult supervision before running it.
Can I copy a plan without changing the original team’s practice?
Yes. Make a separate copy for the other team and edit that copy. Use a joint practice only when you want both teams to participate in the same session.
What if my two teams play different sports?
Create separate sport-specific practices. You may reuse suitable general warm-ups, but do not assume a drill or a joint plan fits both sports. Check each activity’s equipment and age range.
