Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 6, 2026

Welcome to Sport Scheduler Pro (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (the "Agreement"). Please read this Agreement carefully, as it sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Service.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Service Tiers

Sport Scheduler Pro offers multiple service tiers with different features and limitations:

1.1. Free Tier (Anonymous Schedules and Free Brackets)

The free tier allows users to generate basic schedules and tournament brackets without creating an account. Free tier items:

  • Are limited to 14 teams maximum
  • Anonymous schedules are stored for 30 days only, then automatically and permanently deleted
  • Free tournament bracket links are stored for 30 days, then automatically and permanently deleted
  • Are accessible only via direct link (not indexed by search engines)
  • Have no data backup, recovery, or support guarantees
  • May be discontinued or modified at any time without notice

IMPORTANT: We are not responsible for any data loss, scheduling errors, or issues arising from use of the free tier. Free tier schedules are provided "as is" with no service level agreement (SLA), no guarantee of availability, and no obligation to recover or restore deleted data.

1.2. Pro Tier (Paid Subscription)

The Pro tier provides additional features for a monthly subscription fee, including:

  • Unlimited teams per schedule
  • Persistent storage while subscription is active
  • Public shareable URLs with custom slugs
  • Score tracking, standings, manual rosters, and additional features
  • Email support

Pro schedules remain accessible while your subscription is active. After subscription cancellation, data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

2. Public Schedule Pages

2.1. Schedule Visibility

When you publish a schedule using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The schedule becomes accessible via direct link to anyone you share the URL with
  • Schedules are NOT indexed by search engines by default - they will not appear in Google, Bing, or other search results unless you enable search engine visibility in your settings
  • Team names, game dates, times, and locations you enter will be visible to anyone who has the link
  • Livestream-enabled games may appear on your public season and game pages
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to publish any information you include in your schedules

2.2. Search Engine Indexing (Optional)

Pro users may opt-in to allow search engine indexing of their schedules via the League Info settings. If you enable this:

  • Search engines may crawl and index your schedule page
  • Your schedule may appear in search results for relevant queries
  • Disabling indexing later does not guarantee immediate removal from search results - cached versions may persist
  • Enabling indexing does not guarantee your schedule will appear in search results

2.3. User Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the content you publish through the Service, including team names, league names, and any other information. You agree not to publish content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Contains personal information of others without their consent
  • Is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations

2.4. Livestream Links and Third-Party Video Content

The Service may allow leagues and their authorized contributors to attach livestream links to specific games. These livestreams are hosted by third-party services such as YouTube or Facebook, not by Sport Scheduler Pro.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to publish or share any livestream link you attach to a game
  • You are responsible for the content shown in any linked or embedded livestream, including any music, commentary, visuals, and personal information visible in the stream
  • We may remove livestream links or disable livestream-related features if we believe they are abusive, infringing, unlawful, or otherwise harmful
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any third-party stream, embed, or link preview
  • Livestream-enabled games may be surfaced on your league's own public season and game pages

2.5. Manual Rosters and Participant Information

The Service may allow league administrators to maintain private team rosters for internal league management. If you use this feature, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right, authority, and any required consent to enter and manage that information.

  • You may only enter roster information for leagues you administer.
  • For youth leagues, you should enter parent or guardian contact details rather than a minor's direct contact information.
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy and consent requirements for the participant data you manage through the Service.
  • Manual paid or unpaid status tracking in rosters is informational only and does not mean Sport Scheduler Pro processed or collected payment.

3. Use of the Service

3.1. Service Description

The Service provides an online tool for generating sports league schedules for informational and planning purposes only. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." No guarantees or warranties are made regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the schedules for any specific purpose.

3.2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of the schedules generated by the Service. You agree to review and adjust the schedules as necessary to meet the specific needs, rules, or constraints of your league or organization.

3.3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

  • For any unlawful purpose
  • In any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • To scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without permission
  • To distribute spam or other unsolicited communications
  • To use shared game stream codes or access tools for unauthorized changes

4. Disclaimers of Warranties

4.1. No Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SCHEDULES GENERATED WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES.

WE ALSO MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT ANY THIRD-PARTY LIVESTREAM LINK, EMBED, OR VIDEO PLAYER WILL BE AVAILABLE, COMPATIBLE, OR CONTINUOUSLY ACCESSIBLE.

4.2. Free Tier Disclaimer

THE FREE TIER IS PROVIDED ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR DATA LOSS, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, SCHEDULING ERRORS, OR ANY OTHER ISSUES ARISING FROM USE OF THE FREE TIER. FREE TIER DATA MAY BE DELETED AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. IF DATA INTEGRITY AND AVAILABILITY ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOU SHOULD USE THE PRO TIER.

4.3. Data Backup and Loss

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR OWN DATA. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain server uptime and data integrity, we are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or unavailability. You should:

  • Regularly export your schedules using our CSV or print/PDF export features
  • Email schedule links to yourself or your team for safekeeping
  • Maintain your own records of team information, game dates, and scores
  • Not rely solely on this Service as your only record of league information

This Service is a scheduling tool, not a data backup or archival service. We do not guarantee that your data will be available indefinitely, even for paying subscribers. Server failures, software bugs, security incidents, or business changes could result in data loss. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this risk.

4.3. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. General Limitation

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPORTS SCHEDULER PRO AND ITS DEVELOPERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, SCHEDULING CONFLICTS, DISRUPTIONS TO YOUR LEAGUE OR SEASON, DATA LOSS, OR OTHER BUSINESS LOSSES.

5.2. Liability Cap

In no event shall the total liability of Sport Scheduler Pro for any claims arising out of or relating to your use of the Service exceed the amount you have paid to Sport Scheduler Pro for use of the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

5.3. Free Tier Liability

For free tier users who have not paid for the Service, our total liability shall not exceed $0 (zero dollars). By using the free tier, you acknowledge that you have received the Service at no cost and accept all associated risks.

5.4. Third-Party Actions

We shall not be liable for any claims, actions, or damages resulting from the use of schedules by third parties, including but not limited to claims related to game cancellations, venue issues, or other organizational problems.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sport Scheduler Pro, its developers, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Content you publish through the Service
  • Your infringement of any third-party rights
  • Any claims made against you by third parties as a result of your use of the Service

7. Payment and Subscription

7.1. Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

7.2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after the subscription ends
  • Public schedule pages will become unavailable when your subscription expires
  • After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted

7.3. Refunds

We generally do not provide refunds for subscription fees. If you believe you are entitled to a refund due to a service issue, please contact us at info@sportschedulerpro.com.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to its software, designs, graphics, and text, are the exclusive property of Sport Scheduler Pro or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for your personal or organizational scheduling purposes.

8.2. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create through the Service (team names, schedules, etc.). By publishing content publicly, you grant us a license to display and distribute that content as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Termination

9.1. Termination by You

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by ceasing access or canceling your subscription. Termination will not relieve you of any obligations under these Terms, including any outstanding payment obligations.

9.2. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or threatens the integrity of the Service.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2. Arbitration

Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of JAMS or another mutually agreed arbitration service. The arbitration will take place in California, and the decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding. Each party waives their right to bring claims in court or participate in any class action.

10.3. Small Claims Exception

Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction.

11. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes to these Terms will be effective upon posting on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications will constitute your acknowledgment and acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Miscellaneous

12.1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12.2. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sport Scheduler Pro regarding the use of the Service.

12.3. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of our right to enforce such provision in the future.

Additional provisions for Coach by Sport Scheduler Pro

Coach is operated by Sport Scheduler Pro LLC. 3400 Cottage Way, Ste G2 #34837, Sacramento, CA 95825. Contact info@sportschedulerpro.com for account, privacy, or service requests.

The Sport Scheduler Pro Terms of Service reproduced above also apply to Coach by Sport Scheduler Pro ("Coach"). References to Sport Scheduler Pro and the Service include Coach where applicable. These additional provisions explain Coach’s features and govern any Coach-specific difference described below; they do not change the terms for the separate Sport Scheduler Pro scheduling product.

C1. Coach accounts and subscriptions

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to use the team information you provide. Coach has its own account, features, usage allowances and subscription. Its price and renewal details are shown before checkout. A Coach subscription does not include or change a separate Sport Scheduler Pro subscription, and cancelling one does not cancel the other. The scheduling product’s free-tier limits and feature list do not define Coach’s offering.

C2. Coaching and AI assistance

Coach helps with sports drills, general workouts, practice planning, team calendars, player rotations and message drafts. AI responses and library suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular group. You must review the output, confirm equipment and space, consider the players’ ages and abilities, and check local rules before using it. A tentative plan lists equipment you still need to arrange; it is not confirmation that the equipment is available.

Coach does not diagnose injuries, prescribe rehabilitation, give medical clearance or replace a qualified coach or medical professional. Activity references provide background and do not imply endorsement or independent review. You remain responsible for coaching decisions, supervision and participants’ safety. The disclaimers, limitations and other protections in the Terms above also apply to Coach and its outputs, to the extent permitted by law.

C3. Your content, AI processing and sharing

You retain your rights in content you enter. You authorize processing needed to provide the Coach features you request, including sending relevant content to the AI services described in the Coach Privacy provisions. Enter team-level information and avoid players’ full names, contact details, health information or other sensitive information. Do not provide information you lack permission to use.

Coach document and calendar links are unlisted snapshots. Anyone who receives or is forwarded a link can view it. Coach requests that search engines not index these links and does not offer an indexing opt-in. Later edits do not change an earlier snapshot; share an updated version when needed. Revoking a link stops future access through it but cannot remove files already downloaded. Private chats and recaps are not included in public snapshots. Drafting a parent or team message does not send it.

C4. Cancellation and the 30-day return window

You can manage or cancel the Coach subscription in Account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period shown by the billing portal. We retain your Coach account and coaching data for 30 days after the subscription actually ends, so you can return. Resubscribe before that window expires to keep your saved work; signing in alone does not restart the window.

After 30 days, the account and its coaching data are scheduled for permanent deletion, including teams, chats, documents, schedules and share links. During the return window, your saved work is retained and can be exported through Account; opening the coaching workspace requires an active subscription. Existing Coach snapshot links remain available unless you revoke them or delete the account sooner. You can request earlier account deletion after your subscription has ended.

We retain billing records where required by law. If you separately opted in to newsletters and promotions about Coach and Sport Scheduler Pro, we retain only your email address and consent record for that purpose until you unsubscribe. This permission does not preserve your coaching account or workspace. Backup expiry and minimal deletion safeguards are explained in the Coach Privacy provisions.

C5. Optional email updates

Agreeing to these Terms does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The separate news, tips and promotions checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. You can withdraw that permission in Account or through the unsubscribe option provided in marketing emails. Essential account, security and billing communications are separate from marketing.

C6. Imports, availability and your records

Calendar imports read the source and do not change Sport Scheduler Pro or another calendar service. Uploaded files are snapshots; subscribed feeds depend on the source and may be delayed. Confirm important dates with the organizer. Keep independent copies of essential records. Coach may enforce the usage allowances shown in your account; saved work and exports remain available during the applicable retention window even when an AI allowance is exhausted.

These additional provisions do not limit consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact the operator about Coach account access, privacy, billing errors or other service requests.
